What does a Reflexology treatment feel like?
A Reflexology treatment feels like a very peculiar massage. A typical massage focuses on soft tissue. Reflexology differs from massage in that it focuses on specific reflex points, which involve the nerves, soft tissue and the bones. When these points in the hands or feet are manipulated, one may feel relief, ticklish, pleasure, or discomfort.
Can Reflexology be harmful or detrimental in any way?
Definitely not. The non-invasive treatment cannot possibly worsen a condition or cause harm.
Will Reflexology cure me?
Reflexology in its self is not a cure. Reflexologists are not medical practitioners and are not permitted to diagnose and treat ailments. The human body has an incredible capacity for healing. Reflexology assists and enhances the body’s ability to heal its self.
How often can I have Reflexology treatments?
Three to four days between treatments is the optimum.
What conditions are not suitable for Reflexology treatments?
  • Thrombosis
  • Embolus
  • Phlebitis
  • Blood Cancers
  • Lymphatic Cancer
  • Hodgkins Disease
  • Gangrene
  • Shingles (pustules present)
  • First 3 Months of Pregnancy
  • High Fever
  • Infection or Flu
  • Foot Infection
  • High Risk Pregnancy
  • Unmanaged Heart Conditions
Can I get a massage?
Reflexology is not related to massage. Please, do not call asking for massage services.
